CBD Facial & Lymphatic Drainage Massage // BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
This private self-massage instruction will be led by Somatic Bodyworker and Breast Cancer Survivor Mandy, McGaugh with Heart to Hand. Lymphatic drainage is easy to implement into a daily practice and is deeply beneficial as a preventative measure against disease, most especially when you add in the therapeutic benefits of cannabis. Mandy leads a guided self-massage for breast and lymphatic health to demystify and ritualize self-exams while speaking to the ways in which cannabis supported her healing through stage IV metastatic breast cancer. Whether with CBD skincare, full-spectrum topicals, or adding in the euphoric effects of THC, cannabis can support the ritual of self-massage and self-exams by softening our nervous systems, alleviating fears or resistance around self-touch, and gently expanding our self-awareness by increasing our kinesthetic perception.
Available to female identifying participants only. Tickets are $15 — MJ VIP Members Participate for Free but must RSVP
50% of the Proceeds from this event will go to our partner’s Tree Femme Collective Healing in Action program.
The Experiential Tool Kit (Optional)
Mandy instructs using the power of her hands, however, if you wish to elevate your personal experience further, this kit will take you there! Highly curated with products crafted by women including Bakuchiol Repair Serum by Mender, 3 Piece Rose Quartz Gua Sha Set from Gracious Om, and Organic Plant-Dyed Bamboo Silk Eye Mask from Sustain by Kat.
About the Healing in Action Program
50% of the Proceeds from this workshop will go directly to Healing in Action — an education and workshop series created by @treefemmecollective that provides access to healing tools and resources for vulnerable communities, community organizers, and organizations who tirelessly dedicate their lives to equity and justice. BIPOC have held significant positions as the original teachers and keepers of health and wellness practices but are often relegated to the margins of colonial society and disproportionately affected by health disparities resulting from legacies of historical trauma. A portion of proceeds from this workshop will support bringing this program to communities that have been impacted by the War on Drugs.
