Meadow hits it out of the park with this year's Meadowlands

Last month I had the great honor of participating in this year's Meadowlands retreat at Camp Navarro in the Mendocino Mountains. After a beautiful melodic drive up to the redwoods, cannabis activists and professionals were welcomed with an heir of bestowment swirling around. Once we settled in, it was time to squeeze those familiar faces and meet like-minded individuals committed to cannabis education and advocacy.

Every detail of this weekend was thoughtfully executed and certainly did not go unnoticed by me! Meadow provided a safe space for companies to gather. share and connect. Delicious hot meals for EVERY diet were provided and guests were inspired by panels with all-stars in the industry. I tried real hard not to fangirl too much when meeting & chatting with LA's Cannabis Regulator Cat Packer! Conversations led by leaders in cannabis covered everything from Supply Chain to Regulation to Feminine Leadership to Social Equity.

Between panel discussions and silent discos, guests were encouraged to choose their own adventure with outdoor activities and experiential activations from some of our favorite brands like Succulent Planting with Flow Kana, Spa Treatments & Massage with Simplifya, Edible Cooking Demo with Stephanie Hua and Coreen Carroll and Yoga with Ganja Yoga's own, Dee Dussault. And let’s not forget lots of delicately crafted treats to taste like Proposition’s CBD Cocktail and Granola Bites from Atlas Edibles and Spiced Dark Chocolate from the Garden Society.

We stayed in the Green Goddess Village—an entire campsite dedicated to female-owned brands like Garden Society, Kikoko, Elevate Herbs, Sava, Sexxpot, Supernova, Point 7 Group, and Moon Made Farms. In the Green Goddess Village, women and men gathered for a Feminine Leadership Roundtable and healing sound bath by Eliza Maroney. Once the stars came out each night, the bonfire rose, and I ate as many Mellows s’mores as I could fit in my face. Witnessing so many women connecting and empowering one another is why I love cannabis so much. Cannabis is thread that is bringing us all together to do greater things making change. I can’t end this without a quick shoutout to some of the women who made the weekend extra special for this ol’ lady who didn’t make it out past 8 on the last night—Betsy Kabaker, Stephanie Gascon and bunkmates Fel & Chris of Potli and Lizi & Cali of The Future is Flower—thanks for the great time ladies!
